4:15pm - Meet in band hall, eat, change clothes, and bus to Newman Smith

5:50pm - Warmup room
6:30pm - performance on stage (Full schedule below)
7:00pm - sightreading (probably in band hall...parents may observe)
7:20pm - students go home with parents (one bus to return with larger equipment)

* - No Pass/No Play applies to UIL contest. Eligibility for symphonic will be based on the 3rd Nine Weeks Report Card.

PERFORMANCE UNIFORM

- BLACK long sleeve dress shirt (LONG SLEEVE)
- Black pants (no jeans)
- Dark dress shoes (no tennis shoes)
- Black socks/ appropriate hose
- Belt if needed
- Men: no ear rings
- Ladies have the option to wear a full length black dress if preferred (for example, choir uniform dress is perfect). Skirts are NO longer allowed.

Please look early for a long sleeve BLACK dress shirt. These seem to be a little difficult to find in smaller sizes. If you don’t have any luck, let me know. If you find a store with a good selection of smaller sizes, please let me know. Many have had success at Super Target, Target (few), J.C. Penney, Walmart, and Kohls (few). Larger sizes (collars) are ok.
