Several quality band camps are available during the summer for band members to attend.  Attending a band camp is a great opportunity to improve musically, be exposed to professional musicians, perform challenging music is a short time-frame, meet lots of new friends.

Below is a list and description of various camps in Texas.  The first five camps I have experience with and the others I expect to have excellent programs.  The Blast of Brass Camp is a terrific camp of intense brass study for commuters.
