Important Concert Dates: More information will be given in writing to the students closer to the performance dates.
 
  • Lock-In fund raiser event.  (Raise $60 to attend.)
  • First Concert – Thursday, October 16 Dan F. Long 7:00p.m. (Cafeteria)
  • *Full group rehearsal - Friday, Dec. 12, Dan F. Long, 8:10a.m. (Band Hall)
  • December Concert – Monday, December 15 Dan F. Long 7:00pm. (Cafeteria)

 

  • *Full group rehearsal - Wednesday, Feb. 5 (if needed), Dan F. Long, 8:10a.m.
  • Pep Rally - Thursday, February 6, Dan F. Long (during school: afternoon)
  • *Full group rehearsal - Wednesday, Apr. 22, Dan F. Long, 8:10a.m.
  • *Full group rehearsal - Thursday, Apr. 23, Dan F. Long, 8:10a.m.
  • Sandy Lake Contest – Saturday, April 25 Sandy Lake Park (times: to be determined)
  • Audition music released to sixth and seventh graders - Thursday, April 23.
  • Solo Contest – May ??-??, M-F (come after school one day during the week at Dan F. Long (individual time slots of 5 minute durations will be arranged...times may be handled during class if possible....this schedule varies every year pending other activities.)
  • Spring Concert – Friday, May 15 Dan F. Long 7:00p.m.
  • Audition tapes due from all 6th & 7th grade students - Tuesday, May 19.
  • Pool Party - Friday, May 30 Rosemeade Pool, 4:00-6:00p.m.

(* - Since the sixth grade band is divided into different periods it is necessary to schedule a few rehearsals outside of school time before important events.)
