Prior to the audition day students will be given a time window of their expected audtion, for example 6:00-6:30pm.
1. Arrive early and locate your audition room or table.
2. Check-in at your audition room/table. You will be given an ID tag with a pre-assigned letter. You will keep the same letter all day. Do not trade letters. You will tryout in letter order (AA-1st, AB-2nd, AC-3rd,...) as much as possible. It is ok if someone goes out of order.
3. Your room may run ahead of schedule. Be flexible but don't walk into the audition room without doing a warmup.
4. When you are escorted into your audition room the monitor will announce your letter. If the monitor says the wrong letter, be sure to quietly tell the monitor. (You should not talk to the judges. They are seated behind a "curtain" so they cannot see you and you cannot see them.)
5. If something goes wrong during your audition (spring comes loose, keys comes off,...), you may leave the room and tell the monitor. The monitor will tell the judges so that you have the problem fixed and continue with the audition.
6. After you complete your audition you may leave; results will be posted on this web site late in the evening.
7. Adults will monitor the hallway. Be polite. Disruptive students may be disqualified from the auditions.
