AT FRISCO COBB MIDDLE SCHOOL
9400 Teel Parkway, Frisco
(north on Dallas North Tollway to Frisco, exit Main St, turn left on Main, turn right Teel)
Upon arrival at the school
- - - - Check-in with your monitor (this may be at your room or in a designated area----look for signs).

You will be given an ID badge to wear with your audition letter and room number.

Cuts and scales will be posted in the warmup area.
- - - - You do not need to wear your school ID.
You'll need:
1. Your instrument,
2. Your music,
3. Your mouthpiece, extra reeds...
Audition rooms may run ahead of schedule so I recommend being early. Those with early audition times should arrive 30 minutes early. Auditions begin at 8:30am, so those with 9:00 times should play on-schedule. Check-in, warmup, then go audition when you are ready. Don't rush. Turn off your cell phone before going in the audition room.
Do NOT audition until you have done a warm-up! The judges do not want you to play without warming-up properly, even if the room is running ahead of schedule. The monitors do NOT always understand this!

Students may leave once they have played. Nothing will be posted at the school. Results will posted on this web site as soon as possible (on Saturday!).
Although details are not complete it is normal to expect the gym to be the warmup area, the cafeteria is a waiting area, and a concession area will be open.
Note: This audition is at a different school than Phase One.
TRANSPORTATION...We ask parents to provide transportation for their son/daughter so they do not have to stay at the school all day...if you need a ride to and/or from the audition location, please let Mr. Black know as soon as possible.
